Meet Wendy Hanson.
Wendy has always been a bright light and a passionate motivator. At her very core, she desires to help people live up to their fullest potential. And she has the energy and winning personality to make it happen.
An experienced business and executive coach, Wendy was born to be an “entrepreneur’s entrepreneur” and has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and helping them maximize their strengths.
Wendy is CEO and Co-Founder of Corley Hanson Associates — a highly specialized coaching, training and consulting business designed to help businesses lead change. Wendy and her partner, Will Corley founded that company in 1999. Later in 2009, they built on their strong foundation of their years consulting at Google, to start PointFoward Ventures — a dynamic coaching organization that helps startups achieve their goals with great and measurable success.

Working with women-owned businesses has always been a focus of Wendy’s. She has provided one-on-one small group coaching and workshops to women who are focused on becoming entrepreneurs, and she is the proud co-author of the book The Sassy Ladies’ Toolkit for Start-up Businesses. For many years, she had a podcast about business innovation and another for women’s leadership called It’s All in the BRA – Business Revenue and Assets.
In Rhode Island in 2008 and 2009, Wendy also co-hosted a cable TV show about women’s business. There she interviewed women business owners as well as leaders in politics, corporations, and small businesses so others could learn from their experience and expertise.

|Received the “Women in Business Champion of the Year Award” by the US Small Business Administration for her ongoing commitment in advocating for women entrepreneurs.|
|Experienced the journey of a local entrepreneur by starting “Wendy’s Country Things and Herb Garden in Groton, MA in the late 1980s.|
|Founded GROW (Get Right On With It) — a program for the Center of Women & Enterprise designed to empower female entrepreneurs who have been in business for three or more years.|
|Active volunteer for the Guatemala non-profit “Maya Traditions” where she helps local artisan women market and sell their handmade goods so they may earn a fair wage, plus education and health services for their children.|
|Earned a membership to the National Speakers Association through her many successful speaking engagements on the East Coast. Wendy delivered a series of Wine and Leadership evenings in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York for Lee Hecht Harrison.|
|Co-authored “The Sassy Ladies’ Toolkit for Start-Up Businesses” and presented workshops all over New England.|
|Provided strategic planning to Sales Teams and Executive Coaching to Managers at Google from 2002-2007 as Google grew from a a 500-person company to more than 20,000 employees. The revenue produced from the teams she coached grew as much as 200x greater than when she started, with many teams producing in excess of $100 million.|
Wendy was born in New York City and grew up in City Island, graduated from Fitchburg State College, and received her Master’s Degree in Organization and Management from Antioch New England Graduate School. She now lives in Oakland, CA, but is a frequent bi-coastal traveler.
